ABSTRACT: This research highlights the importance of the agricultural sector, management of the risks facing it and suggestof insurance coverages as one of the means to manage these risks, so that it can play its role in achieving sustainable development. An actuarial model was constructed to price some crops in Egypt and for governorate from each of the three regions of Egypt. The study also proposed covering agricultural insurance - crop and livestock insurance - and how to apply them technically and administratively. The study recommended the application of private agricultural insurance in Egypt, and guided by the research, considering the gradation in its application.
